Why take lessons?

The internet is a great index for learning any topic yet with a subject as vast as music its easy to get lost in the complexity of it when simple things like a number could mean your string, fret, interval or even a time signature it can quickly become confusing.

Taking lessons with an experienced instructor will not only guide you through the various topics involved but will help you examine, evaluate and review your own progress. Besides all that playing music with people is like passing a ball to someone rather than a wall!

Online students can use Zoom, Skype or Google Duo.

In home lessons are for the White rock/ South Surrey and surrounding areas.

Lessons can be paid in cash, cheques or e-transfer at the beginning of each month in monthly blocks according to the calendar year.

POLICIES

  • If a student is not home the instructor will wait half the lesson time before leaving. If the student shows up within that time the instructor will teach the remainder of the lesson. Otherwise the lesson will be considered a no show.

  • Due to the nature of road conditions and travelling between student’s homes, please prepare for the instructor to arrive within 5 minutes of the scheduled lesson time.

  • Please give 24 hours notice prior to cancelling, Last minute lesson cancellations will be considered a forfeited lesson and made at the teachers discretion. We do not offer refunds for missed lessons.

  • In the rare event that the instructor is not able to teach at the scheduled lesson time a make up lesson or refund will be provided at your convenience.

  • 2 weeks notice is required for any student withdrawing from lessons.
